Terms & Conditions

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars and are GST-inclusive.
  • Surcharge applies for Public Holidays and all pickups between 9:00pm and 5:00am
  • Additional charges will apply for all pick ups/drop offs required enroute unless already quoted
  • All pick-up and drop off points must be advised at the time of booking, including any stops on route. Consideration should be given for key collection and returns. Any impromptu stops during transfer will be at the discretion of the chauffeur and will incur a charge of $25 per 15 minutes.
  • All reservations must be fully prepaid in advance with Credit Card. Our drivers or affiliates are NOT authorised to take the reservations or make any changes to bookings. All reservations must be confirmed in advance with our office by email or through our website and the customer will receive a confirmation reference number. If a customer has made a booking and has not received confirmation email with reference number within 24 hours they must contact our office ASAP.
  • Waiting Charges: Home/Hotel/Private address– Waiting time rates will apply after first 10 minutes and will be charged in 15 minute increments at a rate of $95 per hour inc GST. At the Airport: Since we monitor all Flights live, we don’t charge Waiting Charges in the occurrence of Flight delays. However, passengers must be ready for immediate departure, additional charges may apply for unnecessary delays such as meal consumption, currency exchange or airport shopping. International Terminals: Waiting time 60 minutes (from flight landing time) included, after 60 minutes $1.50 per minute Waiting charges apply.  Domestic Terminals: Waiting time 30 minutes (from flight landing time) included, after 30 minutes $1.50 per minute Waiting charges apply. 
  •  Multiple Flights: If a group is arriving on multiple flights, additional Waiting and Parking time charges may apply where one of the flights is delayed.
  • Cancellation Policy and changes to confirmed reservations: All cancellation or changes of bookings must be made in WRITING via email and reservation number must be quoted. Please follow up with a phone call to confirm receipt of the email. Cancellation Fees: Airport Transfers and Point-to-Point Transfers– 50% of the total amount if cancellation occurs within 72 hours and 100% of the total amount if the cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the agreed journey. Any cancellation prior to 72 hours of the booking start time will incur $20 administration fee. This fee will be held in credit to be used for next booking under your name. Wedding Transfers- Cancellation must be received 30 days prior to the booked wedding date in writing. You must advise us of the cancelation by email. The deposit will be forfeited to cover cost and losses. If cancellation is received within 30 day of the booked wedding date, the total hire fee will become payable in full. All deposits and payments are non-transferable. 
  • COVID-19 Cancellations: Throughout COVID-19 we have been very flexible with all of our clients when borders are closing. We are understanding of the troubles COVID is causing, if your flight is cancelled due to borders closing we will refund all but a $20 Administration fee. This $20 will be held in credit to be used for the next booking under your name.
  • Disruptions or Delays: Should there be any disruptions or delays it will be the responsibility of the passenger to contact ShuttleMate to prevent any no-show or non-arrival charges. ShuttleMate reserves the right to amend the itinerary if necessary. Every endeavour will be made to keep to arrival and departure times. However, they are indicative only and no guarantee can be made. No compensation shall be payable in the event of loss due to missed connections. ShuttleMate accepts no liability or responsibility for delayed or cancelled flights/ cruises and delays due to traffic or traffic accidents. Passengers need to allow enough time for city traffic and any other delays. ShuttleMate shall not be held responsible for any cost incurred whatsoever caused by any issues outside its control such as vehicle breakdown or traffic, including costs incurred due to late flights and other industrial, civil or public actions. 
  • Food & Beverage Consumption: Consuming food and beverages is not permitted in any vehicle supplied by ShuttleMate without prior approval. In such events payment of a security bond will be required. Please note that you are fully responsible for any charge in respect of any damage caused to the equipment of the vehicle as a result of your booking. Passengers must not litter the vehicle and must remove all rubbish at the end of the journey. Smoking is not permitted by law on any vehicle supplied by ShuttleMate. 
  • ShuttleMate may, without notice, substitute means of transport or service suppliers.
  • ShuttleMate is not a common carrier and is not liable for any loss or damage howsoever arising, including negligence, to any and all goods, baggage and personal effects conveyed by our service. Passengers are therefore strongly advised to ensure they obtain appropriate travel insurance cover for these items. Carriage of passengers is in accordance with Passenger Transport Act 1990.
  • Luggage policy: In the event of excess luggage ShuttleMate reserves the right to charge an excess baggage fee or to refuse to transport the excess items. Extra fees will apply for large items e.g. surfboards, bike bags, ski bags and golf bags.
